Saturday and Sunday appointment status:

Saturday appointment people , I am going to be totally honest with you. We are REALLY low on ripe berries. It is only with a tremendous amount of bending and reaching into the bushes and looking under leaves that you can really find any ripe blueberries. Experienced pickers were able to get a decent amount, but it was hard work. Not like picking clusters of grapes- more like Easter egg hunting. Only 60 lbs today. So I don’t want you to waste gas coming out hoping for a lot of berries.

BUT, I know for some of you, especially those with littles, it’s more of just a getting-out-of-the-house/ making memories/ continuing traditions kind of activity, so I’m not going to cancel tomorrow. And maybe some more berries might ripen up this afternoon for you, too, with all this beautiful weather. If you want to just come out for the fun of it, you are welcome.

I wish there was a way of contacting you all personally at once to give you the update. Unfortunately I may not get to sending out individual texts. I am busier than a one armed paper hanger right now.

For those with appointments Sunday, we also plan to be open. Same situation, though. Just be forewarned.

I do believe Sunday will be our very last open day. 🫐
