Sunday Status: CANCELLED The berries are needing some rest to ripen up for next week’s appointments. Our last pickers today had a rough time finding many ripe berries. Still lots of berries out there but they need to blue up. Everyone was sweet and polite, and understood. Thank you, loyal customers. ❤️❤️❤️ But judging by what I see, I can’t in good conscience keep the field open tomorrow. If you had an appointment tomorrow I am so sorry but I have to cancel it! 🤦🏻‍♀️😞

Saturday appointment people , I am going to be totally honest with you. We are REALLY low on ripe berries. It is only with a tremendous amount of bending and reaching into the bushes and looking under leaves that you can really find any ripe blueberries. Experienced pickers were able to get a decent amount, but it was hard work. Not like picking clusters of grapes- more like Easter egg hunting. Only 60 lbs today. Our customers tell us we should be open tomorrow, Friday August 7th. 😊 So I will just tell you guys who have appointments tomorrow what I have said the last couple days- you won’t fill your freezer but you can still have a fun time! ❤️. And if you don’t you can blame the customers today. 😄

It’s sunny and hazy out there. Kind of pretty, really. I just did a walkthrough and I am seeing some more ripe berries, but not a whole lot. I am going to go ahead and open tomorrow, as planned, so if you have an appointment, feel free to come, but just know you won’t be filling your freezer. In fact tomorrow night be our last day open. If we still have berries at that time we will reevaluate and open some as needed, but what this means for you right now is that unless someone cancels their appointment, and you come across it in time you won’t be able to get an appointment.
